Drug consumption in Europe

There are three central reports on drug use in Europe. These are the ESPAD and HBSC surveys and the EMCDDA annual reports. EMCDDA also publishes a number of additional specific reports.

ESPAD (European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs) has a very user friendly web site here.

HBSC (The Health Behaviour in School-aged Children) is a cross-national research study conducted in collaboration with the WHO Regional Office for Europe. They carry out cross national surveys every four years since 1983/4. The results are published at country level and in individual articles and reports.
