To
the United Nations mid-term review of drug control
We, the undersigned Swedish and European organisations, hereby announce our full support for the United Nations International Drug Conventions (1961, 1971 and 1988). We call upon the United Nations and their special organisations to defend the conventions and to continue to work for the full implementation of the convention in all states having ratified or acceded to the conventions.
We demand that the member states of the United Nations and their governments live up to the contents of the conventions which they have signed and that they implement the conventions in their practical and political work against drugs.
