Biograghy of Dr Thomas Lundqvist, Ph.D.

Thomas Lundqvist is a clinical psychologist and Ph.D. in applied Psychology, working at the Drug addiction Treatment Centre at Lund University Hospital since 1975.

The focus of his research, using an integrative approach, is the cognitive neuropsychological aspect of a cognitive and an executive dysfunction in long-term cannabis users and how this affects the orientation to life, but also to identify the specific thought pattern, the process of improvement and the ability to sense of coherence. He has together with his colleague Dan Ericsson social worker created a structured treatment program for chronic cannabis users.
