Finland Statistics

According to latest research made in 2002 (Stakes/the National Research and Development Centre for Welfare and Health and Tilastokeskus/Statistics Finland):lifetime prevalence of cannabis use (narcotic drugs) was 12 % of all Finns in the age group of 15 – 69 ( men 13 % and women 11 %)and lifetime prevalence on cannabis use in the age group of 20 – 20 was 29 % (I do not have statistics of men and women in this age group, haven’t seen that kind figures published).

Cannabis is most widely used and second are amphetamines (lifetime prevalence in the age group of 15 – 39 20, 5 % and amphetamines 4 %).
